Field Activity #4: Conducting a Distance Azimuth Survey
Common Problems Students encountered:
The excel file would not work when using the Bearing distance to line tool.
-each number in the excel file must have 6 decimal points.
It was difficult to find the exact X,Y coordinates of the base points.
No real solution but our group used an app which ended up being accurate.
Some points were way off because they did not correspond to the feature they wanted it to:
-Being more precise when collecting data, and maybe collecting more points.
